Yoga & Meditation

Who are the Yoga sessions for?

 

The yoga and meditation sessions are free for adult patients of all ages at Willesden Green Surgery. The intensity is easy but patients of all yoga standards, from total beginners to advanced are welcome. The sessions are catered for people who need support with their mental wellbeing.

Time: Select Sundays at 10am

Location: Willesden Green Surgery.

Please do not attend the sessions without a confirmation from the GP Surgery as sessions do not run every Sunday.

What are the benefits of Yoga?

 

Research form the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) shows that consistent yoga and meditation helps with health related quality of life and mental well-being. 

Similarly keeping active is is important for our physical and mental health. The local Saturday Parkrun/walk is at Gladstone Park every Saturday at 9am.

Who runs our Yoga & Meditation Sessions?

Dr Rula is our GP at the practice who has a special interest in Mental Wellbeing. She runs regular Yoga Sessions at the practice with elements of mindfulness and healing.

Dr Rula is a trained Life Coach, who is passionate about helping people heal from trauma and create safety in their lives. Follow her on Instagram @themeditatingmedic to find out more!
