Meet the Willesden Green Surgery Team!

Meet the Doctors

We have six doctors at the practice, each of whom are vastly experienced doctors. Our doctors have completed their medical degrees at some of the world’s most prestigious medical schools.

 

We’re happy for you to request seeing a particular doctor, however you’ll be in great hands with any of our six doctors!

Dr Zuhair Najim

MBBS MRCP DPD DCD PGDD

Special interest: Dermatology, Minor Surgery, Diabetes

Dr Najim has 44 years experience in general practice and endocrinology having previously worked as an Endocrinologist in London. He has a number of areas of expertise, and in 2016, Dr Najim received a Papal blessing for his dedication to the community. He has been a devoted Doctor here since opening Willesden Green Surgery in 1997, beloved by all his patients!

Dr Muhammad Najim

Special interest: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Ultrasound Guided Joint Injections, Brent Clinical Director for Health Inequalities

Dr Muhammad Najim graduated from Imperial College Medical School with a distinction in GP and Surgical finals, and completed his BSc in Healthcare Management with First Class Honours. He went on to work as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow in GP at St Mary's Hospital, and as a Wellcome Trust research scholar. He is in undertaking a Musculoskeletal & Sports Medicine fellowship at University College London Hospital and performs ultrasound guided joint injections for our patients in-house at Willesden Green Surgery. Dr Najim also has an MBA and is the Brent Clinical Director for Health Inequalities. Dr Najim is a sports obsessed competitive LTA tennis player and footballer, although perhaps his biggest passion is chess - so feel free to challenge him to a game!

Dr Sam Chabuk

Special interest: Men's Health, Diabetes, Medical Education

Dr Chabuk graduated from King’s College London in 2010 and completed his GP training in London in 2016. He has experience working extensively in the emergency department at King’s College Hospital. Dr Chabuk is a member of the Royal College of Physicians. He has a diploma in injectable therapies for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Dr Chabuk is a GP trainer and appraiser, with senior responsibility for training doctors looking to become GPs.

Dr Riham Rabee

Special interest: ENT, Joint Injections, Brent Cardiovascular Champion, Medical Education

Dr Riham graduated from Imperial College London in 2016. She went on to complete an Academic Training Programme in Public Health and Primary care focusing on dietary aspect of health inequalities. Dr Riham has a special interest in ENT, and is currently undertaking an ENT fellowship at St Mary's Hospital. She recently completed a Healthcare Management Post Graduate Certificate and has a keen interest in Leadership. Dr Riham is also a university tutor at Imperial College London, teaching years 1 to 3 of medical school. She is an avid tennis player and keen snowboarder and always welcomes recommendations for her next ski trip.

Dr Rula Najim

Special Interest: Mental Wellbeing, Homeless Healthcare, Medical Education

Dr Rula qualified from Imperial College London where she initially trained in anaesthesia and intensive care, then went to work in cancer medicine. She has completed a fellowship in Medical Education with Imperial and has won several teaching awards. Dr Rula has worked internationally in refugee camps, and she currently serves as an acute GP for the Brent Homeless Population at Northwick Park Hospital. She has a special interest in Mental Health and is a trained Life Coach, who is passionate about helping people heal from trauma and create safety in their lives.

Dr Rana Najim

Special interest: Dermatology, Women's Health

Dr Rana graduated from Barts and The London, completing a bachelors with honours in oral medicine. She carries diplomas in women's health and a postgraduate diploma in reproductive medicine. She has a special interest in dermatology and works as a Dermatology Fellow at Central Middlesex Hospital. Book with her for all your dermatology needs! She is also a keen runner, having completed the London Marathon.

Dr Mohammed Ali

Special interest: Minor Surgery

Dr Mohammed Ali graduated from Barts and the London in 2015, whilst also completing a Bachelors in Haematology at Imperial College London. He has a keen interest in managing patients with learning disabilities and is the current Learning Disabilities Lead at the surgery. Dr Ali is also experienced in minor surgery training and can carry out numerous procedures including removal of moles, cysts, lipomas, warts & skin tags, as well as toenail surgery.

Dr Abby Gouldie

Dr Gouldie is our GP Trainee. She graduated from the University of Dundee Medical School and is currently a trainee of the Central Middlesex Hospital Training Scheme.
